There
is no dearth of poets who keep composing Salams and Nauhas in praise of Ahle-Bait
–e-Athar but wish to remain anonymous. They consider it their solemn duty to
write elegiac poetry on the exalted status, massacre of Imam Hussain and his
companions and persecution of survivors. Hence, they don’t want any reward or
recognition of their work and only pray for the blessings of Masoomeen upon
them.
Janab
Saeedul Hasan Naqvi ,a practicing lawyer of Fatehpur City is also one such
poet.He has been composing elegiac poetry for many years. The blogger happened
to meet him where he disclosed to him that he would be reciting his fresh ‘Kalam’(Poem)
at a Majlis-e-Aza to be held at Azakhana of Khurshhed Saheb in Ali Nagar. He revealed
that his Kalam had two couplets on Imam Sajjad because he suffered most after
the tragedy of Karbala. After much persuasion, he granted permission to the
blogger to produce the following couplets that highlight the character of imam Hussain
and how Imam Sajjad imprisoned ‘persecution’ despite being in chains and
fetters
“Ishq-e-Ahle-Bait Ko
Parkho Nahin Guftar Se
Khud Ayan Hota Hai Ye
Insan Ke Kirdar Se
Ye Sada Meesam Ki Aati Hai
Faraz-e-Daar Se
Ishq-e-Haider kat nahi
sakta Kisi Talwar Se
Zindigani Haq Ne Payi
Abid-e—Beemar Se
Goonj Utha Sara Jahan
Zanjeer Ki Jhankar Se
Ek Rasan basta ne Qaidi
kar liya Hai Zulm Ko
Kaun takraiga Azme
Abid-e-Beemar Se
Ek Sar Maanga Tha Sarwar Ne
Bahattar De Diye
Marziye Haq Ko Kharida
Nafs Ke Meyar Se”
He
also discussed at length about the history of Azadari and Muharram rituals in Fatehpur
city. An article based on inoputs provided by him will shortly be posted on the
blog Insha Allah shortly. The blogger has also requested him to make available some
of his other Salams and Nauhas. Upon receipt, they too will figure on Muharram
Mirror.
