I
am on tenterhook. Earlier, Muslim fanatics were branding me Kafir. Now, it is
the turn of their Hindu counterparts. Operating on social media with fake IDs, Hindu
fanatics began targeting me when I refused to endorse their view that Shias describe
Hazrat Ayesha, the youngest wife of Rasul SAW as morally laxed woman (MA).My
refusal enraged them and they began highly objectionable remarks against the
Holy Prophet SAW. They are accusing the Holy Prophet of committing child- rape,
having sex with his aunt, murdering
prisoners of war, advocating suicide attacks, encouraging bloodshed, taking maximum share in
war booty and craving for praise for him only. (Maaz Allah and May Allah destroy
his enemies) These fanatics are quoting Sahih Bukhari, Sahih Muslim and History
of Tabari to supplement their claim. Hindu fanatics are using the same trick
that was adopted by Wahabis to damage traditional Islam with the sole objective
of dividing Shia and Sunni Muslims. They are using selective pieces from the
works of Bukhari, Muslim and Tabari to malign the image of Holy Prophet. To
give a befitting reply to those who are making false allegations against the Prophet,
I am giving below the quotes of eminent non-Muslim personalities and scholars about
Hazrat Muhammad Mustafa:
“
Whatever the opinion one may have of this
extraordinary man, whether it be that of the devout Muslim who considers him
the last and greatest herald of God's word, or of the fanatical Christian of
former days, who considered him an emissary of the Evil One, or of certain
modern Orientalists, who look on him rather as a politician than a saint, as an
organizer of Asia in general and Arabia in particular, against Europe, rather
than as a religious reformer; there can be no difference as to the immensity of
the effect which his life has had on the history of the world.”Pringle Kennedy (Arabian Society at
the Time of Muhammad, pp.8, 10, 18, 21)
“My choice of Muhammad to lead the list of the
world's most influential persons may surprise some readers and may be
questioned by others, but he was the only man in history who was supremely
successful on both the religious and secular levels.” MICHAEL
H HART in his book ‘The 100’.
“If greatness of purpose, smallness of means, and
outstanding results are the three criteria of human genius, who could dare to
compare any great man in modern history with Muhammad? The most famous men
created arms and empires only. They founded, if any at all, no more than
material power which often crumbled away before their eyes. This man merged not
only armies, legislation, empires, peoples and dynasties but millions of men in
one third of the inhabited world…” (Historie de la Turqu,, Vol. 2, page
76-77)Lamartine a French
historian, writes in his book, History of Turkey, p. 276:
"...I became more than ever convinced that it
was not the sword that won a place for Islam in those days in the scheme of
life. It was the rigid simplicity, the utter self-effacement of the prophet,
the scrupulous regard for his pledges, his intense devotion to his friends and
followers, his intrepidity, his fearlessness, his absolute trust in God and his
own mission. These, and not the sword carried everything before them and
surmounted every trouble." Mahatma Gandhi, YOUNG INDIA, 1924
“It was
the first religion that preached and practiced democracy; for, in the mosque,
when the call for prayer is sounded and worshippers are gathered together, the
democracy of Islam is embodied five times a day when the peasant and king kneel
side by side and proclaim: 'God Alone is Great'... “Sarojini Naidu, the famous Indian poetess, Ideals of Islam, Speeches and
Writings, Madras
“The
good sense of Muhammad despised the pomp of royalty. The Apostle of God
submitted to the menial offices of the family; he kindled the fire; swept the
floor; milked the ewes; and mended with his own hands his shoes and garments.
Disdaining the penance and merit of a hermit, he observed without effort of
vanity the abstemious diet of an Arab.” Gibbon in 'The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire' 1823
“My problem to write this monograph is easier,
because we are not generally fed now on that (distorted) kind of history and
much time need not be spent on pointing out our misrepresentations of Islam.
The theory of Islam and sword, for instance, is not heard now in any quarter
worth the name. The principle of Islam that “there is no compulsion in
religion” is well known. K.
S. Ramakrishna Rao in 'Mohammed: The Prophet of Islam,' 1989.
I am sure that the
above quotes will surely convince my Hindu friends that they should refrain
from slandering apostle of humanity. I
have more quotes to support my contention and post if anyone desires to see
beyond what is written in Sahih of Muslim and Bukhari. My non-Muslim friends should
remember that anti-Prophet forces had hijacked Islam from actual successors of
the Holy Prophet. His grandson Hazrat Imam Hussain had laid down his life against
the forces of a caliph appointed by usurpers. After his martyrdom, Umawi and Abbasid
rulers had appointed scholars to write against holy Prophet and his progeny to
get their illegitimate caliphate and Un-Islamic acts justified. These writings
are now being used against Prophet by extremists for political gains.(Blogger will post many other quotes on demand).
