Two
regular viewers have developed lot of grudges against the blogger. One of them claims
to be a Sunni while the other represents Ahle- Hadees faction. Both of them
claim to be true Muslims. One who is ‘Sunni’ abuses non-Muslims and calls all Shias
Kafirs. He also praises Yazid and considers martyrdom of Hazrat Imam Hussain as
a result of his refusal to pay allegiance to Caliph of the time. Ahle-Hadees
fellow indeed is very sober in approach and puts forward his view point in a
decent manner. Both of them have one thing in common-hatred against Shias on
the ground that they curse Sahaba Karam and it was Hazrat Ali who started ‘Fitna’
for caliphate. They also blame Kufis who deserted Imam Hussain after inviting
him and call them as Shias. Another common approach of the two is repeated denial
of the books written by contemporary scholars and historians. These include
even famous ones such as Sahih Muslim, Sahih Bukhari,Tareekh-E-Tabari, Mulukiyat
aur Khilafat by Maulana Maududi and works of Maulana Raza of Barelvi. The
blogger had quoted works of non-Shia scholars as one of them claims to be member
of Ahle-Sunnat Wal Jamat. But he refused to acknowledge traditions recorded in
the works cited above, leaving the blogger to conclude that he is a Wahabi and
a follower of Muhammad ibn Abdul Wahab Najdi. It became more clear when he
described Emperor Jahangir as a true believer. His submission revealed that as
to why is he in favor of Yazid, for the entire world knows how drunkard Jahangir
was like ibn Muwaiya. Ahle Hadees brother also hold somewhat similar views but
does not appreciate Yazid and never exhibits any disrespect to the family of Holy
Prophet. He also never calls Shias as apostates or heretics but accuse them of
cursing Sahaba Karam. When his attention was drawn towards the cursing of Hazrat
Ali, he out rightly denied that such thing ever happened.
The duo
had no problem with the blogger till the execution of Sheikh Baqar Al Nimr. When
the blogger wrote an article and predicted that his blood would enhance
sectarian violence among Muslims both flared up. They did not utter even a
single word against Amnesty International and other organizations that
condemned the ‘execution’ but started shooting volley of posts against the
blogger, making lot of accusations against Shias. This continued even as the
blogger repeatedly told them that he was a historian and analyst and he should
not be associated with any Maslak. At such a juncture, the blogger asked ‘Sunni
‘ one to get any scholar of Ahle-Sunnat to
praise Yazid. In reply, he sent video clipping of a scholar known for his hate speeches.
The clipping was based on the subject as what will happen to those who curse Sahaba
Karam. It had no connectivity with the challenge thrown by the blogger. It
again established him as a hardcore Wahabi as no Sunni would ever appreciate Yazid.
As Ahle-Hadees Bhai has also denied that Hazrat Ali was ever cursed, the blogger
has no option but to reproduce below the traditions that bear testimony to the
fact that Hazrat Ali who embraced Islam first and fought in decisive battles was
cursed for about 65- years despite authentic Hadees of Nabi Pak “ Whoever curses (or verbally abuses) Ali, he has, in fact,
cursed me, and whoever has cursed me, he has cursed Allah, and whoever has
