Wait
is finally over. The historic ‘Hussain Day’ program will be held at Rajbi ground
near Parade area in Kanpur City of India on December 17,2017.The date was
announced after the executive meeting of the organizing body Hussaini
Federation at its office in Phoolwali Gali. Chairman of the federation Mr.Kabir
Zaidi also revealed that two persons will also be sent free of cost to visit
shrines at Karbala and Najaf and their selection will be made through lottery system.(Qurandazi).This
will be 44th edition of the program that aims at promoting Hussaini
Philosophy among people from all walks of life. The program will be held in two
sessions and a galaxy of orators, poets ,religious scholars and dignitaries
will address the participants who come in thousands from various parts of the
country to listen to discourses and elegiac poetry.
The
first session will be chaired by Mr. Sardar Nawab, Chairman, Imam-e-Zamana
Welfare Trust, Mumbai with Mirza Muhammad Ashfaq, Maulana Wasi Hasan Khan,
Maulana Ali Abbas Khan, Professor Mohammad Saud Alam and R-esearch Scholar, BHU.
Janab Abu Zar Ali as main speakers. Dr.
Nayyer Jalalpuri will compeer the session. Chairman Town area Naugavan sadat
Janab Nadeeb Abbas Zaidi will chair the second session with Dr.Kalbe Sadiq,Maulana Qamar
sultan, Zakir Abbas Irshad, Ameer Hamza Ashrafi and Acharya Pramod Krishna as
distinguished speakers. In between eminent poets like Khadim Shabbir Naseerabadi,
Khursheed Muzaffarnagri and Jawahar Unnavi will present their ’Kalam’ in praise Imam Hussain and troubles he faced at Karbala.
Mr.Israr
Hussain Zaidi, President of the federation told the blogger that program will
begin with recitation of Quranic verses by Maulana Azhar Abbas at 11 AM and it
will continue till late in the evening. Arrangements for free lodging and
fooding for the outstation participants have also been made. Free distribution
of sewing machines and blankets will also take place for destitute. Cash awards
will also be given to 6 brilliant
scholars of 10th and 12th board. The federation has also
extended invitation to two three ministers of yogi cabinet and they have
assured to attend the program, he added. The souvenir will also be released like yesteryears
,containing articles in Hindi, English and Urdu from eminent scholars on
various aspects of Karbala revolution. The souvenir is considered to be of
immense significance in view of its quality of articles that create much needed
awareness about imam Hussain among all sections of the society.
It
is worth mentioning here that program is first of its kind in North India and
probably the first Hussain day function of India in terms of scale and
magnitude. Another unique feature of the program is dedication and commitment of
federation’s members who work almost round the clock for three months to ensure
